First access
There are two possible ways to access envbee for the first time:
- Being the first user in your organization (read this section)
- Being invited to an existing organization by another user (read this other section)
Creating everything from scratch
If you are the first one using envbee, once you log in, you’ll see no data initially. However, we offer a Kickstart Panel to help you get started quickly:
This tool can create some basic items for you, which should later be customized.
Whether you used the Kickstart Panel or decided to create everything manually, you will need to set up:
- An organization
- An application
- All the environments your application requires
- The user profiles your team needs
Once everything is set up, you can start adding variables and their values for each environment in the Variables module.
Invited by another user
If you were invited to join an existing envbee organization, you'll see a banner at the top of the page prompting you to accept the invitation.
Once you accept, you'll gain access to the organization's existing data.
